Ramar Transportation
carrier partners

Run your own authority? Join Ramar's brokerage roster.

Carrier partner intake for separate carriers operating under their own MC authority. When shippers tender freight to Ramar's broker desk, we move it through vetted carriers — direct carrier-to-carrier, never double-brokered.

how we work with carrier partners

Most of Ramar's freight runs on our own equipment under our own USDOT. Some of it runs through our MC 300208 broker authority — and that's where the Carrier Partner roster matters. When a shipper tenders freight to our broker desk that we don't want to run on our own assets (capacity, lane, or specialty), we place it with vetted carriers we already know and already trust.

The arrangement is direct carrier-to-carrier under Ramar's broker agreement. We do not double-broker. The carrier on the load is the carrier on the bill of lading; the customer relationship and the freight accountability stay with Ramar.

Not what you're looking for? If you own your tractor but want to run under Ramar's authority instead of your own (with our customer book and our dispatch), the Owner-Operator track is the right one — see /careers/owner-operators/.

What we look for

  • Valid MC authority and DOT in good standing
  • FMCSA SAFER profile clean — no recent OOS or pattern violations
  • Hazmat endorsement and HM-Capable status on filings (preferred for Class 1 / 8 / 9 lanes)
  • Current insurance certificate meeting Ramar's customer minimums
  • Operating history — newly authorized carriers reviewed case-by-case
onboarding

How carrier vetting actually runs

Step 1

Submit the intake form

Tell us who you are, what equipment you run, and where you're authorized. This is the minimum information our broker desk needs to begin vetting.

Step 2

We send the full packet

If your profile fits, we send the carrier-agreement packet: company profile, W-9, MC authority, insurance cert, and our standard broker-carrier agreement.

Step 3

Onboarding + first tender

Once paperwork is back, you go on the active roster. When a load matching your profile comes through Ramar's broker desk, dispatch reaches out directly.

This is a short intake — the minimum information Ramar's broker desk needs to begin vetting. If the fit is right, we'll send the full carrier-agreement packet (W-9, MC authority, insurance cert, signed broker-carrier agreement) by email.
