Team Drivers — Secure Class 1 Freight

Team drivers run Ramar's Class 1.1 attended-freight lanes — ammunition, explosives, and select DOD freight that requires continuous driver attendance per 49 CFR 397.5. This is the most rigorous freight Ramar moves and the most operationally consequential.

The freight is consequential, and the operating discipline reflects that. Pre-trip inspections, route adherence, restricted-zone awareness, and compliance-clean documentation are non-negotiable. In exchange, we run team-driver-rated equipment, structured pay, and dispatch that doesn't rotate ownership of your loads.

Minimum requirements

• ▸Valid CDL Class A with HM (Hazmat) endorsement
• ▸Minimum 1 year CDL experience with hazmat-class freight
• ▸Clean MVR (specifics reviewed in application)
• ▸TWIC card (or willingness to obtain — Ramar covers cost)
• ▸Pass DOT physical and DOT drug screen
• ▸Background check satisfactory for DOT audit-clean roster
